NORTH AUCKLAND FINALISTS [by telegraph —own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Friday The North Auckland ladies' annual golf tournament was continued this morning on the Mount Denby links in cold and showery weather, which made conditions very tinP The an ßemi-finals of the championship resulted :—Mrs. Thomas defeated Mrs. Nolan, 5 and 4; Mrs. Reynolds defeated Mrs. All -son, 3 and 1. The final, over 18 holes, will be played to-morrow. . ... A bogey match resulted:—Senior, Miss Bray,. 2 up; junior, Mrs. Hoult, 1 down. A four-ball best-ball medal match over 12 holes resulted in a tie between Mesdames Alison and Thorne, 55, 12 —43, and Miss Knowles and Mrs. Weaver, 59. 16 —43.
