PRISON FOR TIMEKEEPER OFFENCE ON RELIEF WORKS [BY TELEGRAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION] Friday For falsifying pay and time sheets on the Khandallah relief works with the result /that he obtained £lO 5s from the Wellington City Council, Phillip Augustus Kesler was sentenced to six months' imprisonment by Mr. E. Page, S.M., to-day. There were six .'i'fV'erent charges. .'lie police said Kesler had been :;i ployed as timekeeper from November 16 to February 10, and had included in his returns men who were not actually working on the job. He / was a man with previous convictions.
