MR. J. M. ILOTT'S RECOVERY Further news of the recovery of Mr. J. M. Ilott, the recently-elected governor of the New Zealand Rotary dis* trict, who became seriously ill two months ago while attending the international Rotary convention at Detroit, United States, was brought by Mr. Angus Mitchell, of Melbourne, an Australian delegate- to the convention, wha, passed through Auckland by the Monterey yesterday. "Mr. Ilott is fortunate to be aliv* to-day," said Mr. Mitchell, "for at one stage his life was despaired of v He has shown remarkable couraga throughout his illness, but it will be some time before he is fully restored to health." He added that Mr. Ilott expected to leave the United States for New Zealand on September 18.
