The vehicle, which is owned by Mr. I. E. Scott, of Henderson, was travelling from the city and at the sharp bend in tho Great North Road near Crummer Road it collided with a parked vehicle. Mr. Scott", who was alone in the car, suffered an injury to a wrist and abrasions, but was not sent to hospital. The benzine tank was fractured and petrol leaked on to the road. As a result of tho collision Mr. Scott's car was severely damaged. The front whools, axle and wings, the radiator aud windshield suffered extensively, while the engine was forced back and the chassis bent. Tho other vehicle involved in the accident was not damaged to any great extent.
