VICTORIA DEFEATS CANTERBURY [by telegbaph—press association] WELLINGTON, Wednesday Victoria University College beat Canterbury College 'in the annual Rugby match played at Athletic Park to-day by 13 points to 7. The game was a vigorous one, marked by fairly open movements, but there were onlv occasional flashes of brilliancy. Victoria College won with a slightly better back combination.
