BUSINESS IN WAIHIS MOUNT LYELLS RECOVER The renewed interest in Wailii mining shares was maintained on the Auckland Stock Exchange on Saturday. Buyers raised their offers to 32s 6d, but eventually secured supplies ljd cheaper at. 32s 4J-d after sellers had quoted as high as 335. The volume of mining business was not large. Mount Lyells, for which tho market is stronger as a result of the resumption of activities at tho mine, had sale 7d better at 21s 7d. Matakis, which changed hands at 2s 2Jd, were id down.
