COMMENT BY TIMES DECISION NOT SURPRISING GOOD RESULTS OF POLICY (Received July 6, 6.5 p.m.) Times Cable LONDON, July 5 The Times expresses the opinion that no surprise will be felt at the Commonwealth Government's decision to hold the general election some months before it need have done owing to the advantage to the farming interests of the Royal visit and to the favourable circumstances for an appeal for a renewal of its mandate. Australia has made great progress since 1931. The Government will ask for continued support for its policy which has produced this result.
