Mrs. Lan MacEwan, Vincent Avenue, Remuera/, returned yesterday from a visit to the South Island and Wellington.
Mrs. C. V. Houghton, Gladstone Road,' Parnell, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. D. McLurg, Lower Hutt.
Mrs. J.' Steer, Christcliurch, Mrs. R Roberts, Palmerston North, Mrs. M. Burnett and Mrs. P. Hartland, Wangunui, are at the Station Hotel.
Miss May Beverley, of Matamata, has returned after spending three months in Dunedin, where she was the guest of Mrs. M. Tombs, Argvle Street.
Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Johns. Bassett Road, Remuera* who havo been visiting Honolulu, will return to Auckland by the Niagara on Monday morning.
Miss Meg Russell, who has been visiting Hamilton, has returned to Auckland, and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. G. N. G. Morris, Lucerne Road. Remueray
The monthly meeting of the Mount Albert branch of the Community Sunihine Association was held on Wednesday, the Mayoress of Mount Albert, Mrs. Raymond Ferner, presiding. It was a matter of considerable satisfaction that the activities of the past few months had enabled the branch to forward to the association the sum of £36. Mrs. Sinclair was elected a new member of the branch.
