MEAT FOR BRITAIN
DOMINIONS' SUPPLIES RESTRICTION OPPOSED LONDON, July 3 Tho High Commissioners for New Zealand and Australia, Sir James Parr and Mr. S. M. Bruce, conferred this afternoon in connection with their Governments' replies to the meat import control proposals. Tho conference with Mr. J. H. Thomas, Dominions Secretary, and Mr. W. E. Elliot, Minister of Agriculture, will be resumed tomorrow.
It is gathered that the Dominions continue to oppose any suggestion of further restrictions. They agree that tho worst complication is in tho first two clauses of Argentina's agreement with Britain.
