WRESTLING
WALKER TO MEET ALI BEY The bout arranged by the Auckland Wrestling Association at the Town Hall for next Monday evening between George Walker and Ali J3ey promises to bo one of the best attractions of the season. Ali Bey is looked upon as a worthy opponent for Walker and the former's record in New Zealand to date justifies the belief in many quarters that he will go very close to beating the New Zealand champion. Bey infuses a groat amount of vigour into his work and against a difficult opponent can be relied upon for a hard and spectacular display. Walker, who has a rather lean record so far this season, will bo anxious to reinstate himself as the leading wrestler in tho Dominion, and a fine bout should result. The following amateur preliminaries havo been arranged:—W Williamson (Y.M.C.A.). 9st 7lb, v. 11. Green (Bayview), 9st 7lb; T. Pearce (Leys), 13st. v. N. Silich (Broadway), 12st Gib; W.
