DANCE AT TAKAPUNA

GRAMMAR SCHOOL OLD BOYS "An Eccentric Dance" was the name chosen for the first annual dance organised by the Banquet Club of the Takapuna Grammar School Old Boys. Tt was held in the Parish Hall at Takapuna on Saturday evening and some amusing and original costumes made their appearance.. The organiser, Mr. W. Leggat, was assisted by ,Miss M. Deighton, Miss J. Armstrong, Miss Doe Spriggs, Mr. R. Buckley, Mr. U. Nicholson and Mr. R. Douglas. A buffet supper was served later in the evening and novelty and demonstration dances were given.
