FARM HOUSE BURNED
ABSENCE OF FAMILY [BY TELEGRAI>H —OWN CORRESPONDENT] OPOTIKI, Monday Fire completely destroyed the fourroomed farm house at Hukuwai, occupied by Mr. R.. Black and family. The occupants went out about noon yesterday, and everything apparently was then all right. On returning, however, at two o'clock, they found nothing but ruins. Tho house was owned by Messrs. McGrevy brothers, of Auckland, and was not insured. There was no insurance on Mr. Black's furniture and effects.
