COLLEGE FUNCTION

EVENING STUDENTS' DANCE

The hall of the Seddon Memorial Technical College presented a gay scene 011 Saturday evening when the executive committee of the Evening Students' Association held its first dance of the year. All excellent orchestra provided popular old-time and modern dances. Miss Natalie and Mr. Matthew Stratton gave exhibitions of tlie Charleston Blues and quickstep to a large and appreciative audience. Mr. L. C. Rice, vice-president of the association, was in charge of the programme. Supper was served in the domestic science department. Among the dancers present were the following members of the executive: — Miss Jean Shale, who wore pink angelskin satin; Miss Edna Perrin, lime green crinkle crepe; Miss Jean Buckly, apple green crinklo organdie; Miss Pauline Paull, black windswept satin and lace. Others present were:—Mrs. G. W. C. Drake, wearing black satin; Mrs. E. James, white satin; Mrs. T. S. Piggin, apple green ninon; Miss Rona Beeston, apple green crinkle crepe; Miss J. Campbell, black angelskin lace; Miss Joan Coe, pink velvet and fur; Miss Wilma Craig, green frilled frock; Miss M. Davidson, pink muslin; Miss Gwen Docherty, flame crinkle crepe; Miss Claudia Fairhead, white angelskin; Miss Grace Faulkner, pale blue organdie; Miss Jean Forrester, white panne velvet; Miss Mary Gillespie, white silk; Miss G. Gosling, white hailstone muslin; Miss U. Goldsmith, black velvet; Miss E. Grant, pale pink satin; Miss Jean Hunt-er, white georgette; Miss Marie Jonas, white satin; Miss M. Jonas, pink satin; Miss Joan Lyons, pale blue creep suede; Miss M. Neil, cornflower blue craquello crepe; Miss E. Petersen, flame satin; Miss E.
