DISPLAY OF FLOWERS
EXHIBITS AT WHANGAREI [from our own correspondent! WHANGAREI, Saturday The annual flower show in connection with the Whangarei Presbyterian Church was held yesterday. The severe weather of tho preceding days interfered with tho exhibits, but the display was nevertheless very creditable. Following are the principal results:— Bowl of chrysanthemums, grown by exhibitor: Mrs. Webber, 1; Mrs. McMillan, 2. Decorated table: Mrs. Weaver, 1: Mrs. Sands, 2. Basket of flowers: Miss Gwcn Hoov, 1; Mrs. Weaver, 2. Bowl of flowers: Mrs. J. A. Inkster, 1; Miss Sands, 2. Original design: Mrs. Weaver, 1.
