MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS
The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, and Mrs. Forbes, and tho Minister of Industries and Comnierce, the Rt. „Hon. R. Masters, accompanied by Dr. E. Marsden, secretary to the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, arrived from Wellington by the limited express yesterday, and were welcomed at the railway station by the Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, and several members of Parliament. Tho Ministers were the guests of the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, at luncheon at Government House. They transacted official business at the Grand Hotel in the course of the day, and paid a visit to East Tamaki to witness a demonstration of the vacuum process of butter-making. To-day they will confer upon trade and other questions with Mr. S. M. Bruce, Australian High Commissioner in London, who is a passeuger to San Francisco by the Monterey. It is expected that they will return to Wellington by train to-morrow evening. The lit. Hon. .T. G. Coates, Minister of Finance, will arrive from Wellington by the early express to-day to take part in the conference with Mr. Bruce. He will probably return to-mor-row evening. The Hon. J. G Cobbe. Minister of Justice and Defence, left for Wellington by last evening's express. Sir Apirana Ncata, Minister of Native Affairs, arrived at Frankton from Wellington by the limited express yesterday morning.
