WOMAN IN WASH-HOUSE POWER LINE ON BUILDING ■ \ [by telegraph—press association] ASHBURTON, Monday A startling experience befel Mrs. J. Sprott, of Fendarvis, on Saturday, when she received a severe electric shock that incapacitated her for some time. The shock came when Mrs. Sprott was standing in a wash-house with one hand on a tap and the other on a wringer. Her cries brought members of the household to her aid, it being thought she had suffered a seizure. It was found, however, that an electricpower pole near the gate had fallen, the wire lying across the house.
