MOVING A COTTAGE

BRIDGE TRAFFIC BLOCKED FINE AT WHANGAREI [from our owx correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday As a sequel to a blockage of traffio which lasted for two and a-half hours on a recent Saturday evening at Victoria Bridge, William Henwood, a lorry driver, was charged in the Police Court to-dav with causing an unnecessary obstruction to traffic.

The borough inspector, Mr. J. H. Ashton, said that defendant was taking ft cottage to Oneralii when it stuck in the middle of the bridge. It was merely an error of judgment. A fine of £2 and costs was imposed.
