FATAL FALL FROM RIDGE

ATTACK OF VERTIGO YOUTH ON SHOOTING TRIP [BY TELEGRAPH —PRTESS ASSOCIATION"] CB KISTCHURCH, Mone!iiy Mr. Frank Hodge, aged 19. of Sydenham, fell over a cliff 320 ft. high whilo shooting near Cass yesterday, avid died from injuries. Mr. Hodge and a companion, Mr. C. J. Richardson, were crossing over to the Hawdon Stream, when they apparently stopped on the ridge' to look around. A giddy turn is believed to have overtaken Mr. Hodge, who fell over the edge, receiving severe head injuries. The accident happened between 2.:'0 p.m. and three o'clock yesterday. At the tinlc Mr. Richardson found himself unable to reach his companion down the cliff and lie returned to .Cass for assistance, so for some time it was not known whether Mr. Hodge had been killed. The police now state that death was instantaneous.
