Sir, —1 was in the city on Thursday afternoon when two unpleasant accidents occurred; the wonder was there were not more. 1 have been in many cities of the world and I have never seen a. more undisciplined crowd—-motor-cars, tramenrs and pedestrians all higgledy-piggledy. 1 suggest that the blue men ol the traffic department who pay so much attention with their little notebooks to the numbers on stationary cars might be more worthily employed, helping pedestrian traffic at dangerous crossings.
