A concrete jetty, 2500 ft. long, at Beadon was wrecked. Nearly 7-iin. of rain fell in 10 hours. The telegraph service is dislocated and the district is isolated. Severe floods in the Wiluna district have disorganised the railway service. Pastoralists are overjoyed at the rain, which was badly needed.
