INTEREST IN WALLA WALLA TO-DAY'S INVITATION MATCH DISCUSSION OF PROSPECTS The presence of the champion Australian pacer Walla Walla lends special interest to the Easter meeting of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club which opens at Addington to-day. In the Invitation Match he will be opposed by four of the best New Zealand performers, including the Auckland veteran Jewel Pointer. Auburn Lad, who came from Australia with Walla Walla, is engaged in both the Easter and Flying Handicaps. Telegraphing last evening our Christchurch correspondent stated that the weather, seemed settled and the track was in excellent order. Naylor, formerly a prominent bookmaker, was associated last year with the trin of Winooka to America. The committee also disqualified F. J. Punch until he attends to answer certain questions.
