TRANSFER MARKS

It is often found that after embroidering over a transfer design the transfer marks show through the stitches. Washing will often not remove them and the material which has been worked is thereby made unsightly. These marks can be removed completely by rubbing them lightly with a cloth which has been dipped in methylated spirits. The material' should then be washed in the usual way.
