SOUTH AUCKLAND AFFAIRS [kjiom our ottn correspondent] TAUPIRI, Thursday Tlio an litis! meeting of the South Auckland Rugby League was attended by delegates from Tnupiri, Rotowaro. Huntly and Pukemilo. Mr. R. T. Hill presided. The balancesheet showed the financc3 of the league to be very satisfactory. Officers were elected as follows Patron. Mr. uV. Wilson; president, Mr. R. T. Hill: secretary-treasurer, Mr. J. Glasgow; auditor. Mr. H. S. Morris; delegates to unnual meeting of the Rugby League Council. Mr. R. T. Hill. Mr. W. J. Taylor: property keeper. Mr. J. Ashcroft. The Taupiri Club was given permission to take a team to travel to Napier on Juno 4. The meeting recommended that the seuson should commence on April -t.
