CAMBRIDGE SEEKS RELIEF [prom our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Thursday At a meeting of ratepayers of the Cambridge Riding of the Waikato County Council at Hautapu, dissatisfaction was expressed at the continued high levol of rates in comparison with the reduced values of primary products. After protracted discussion a resolution was carried unanimously urging the "\Vaikato County Council to review every channel of expenditure with a view to making economies. A committee consisting of Messrs. F. H. Anderson, W. Harbutt and R. H. Feisst was appointed to wait on the County Council and put forward the views of the meeting. The unfairness of the hospital rate was stressed and the county chairman, Mr. W. Newell, was urged to assist the movo being made by the Farmers' Union to get the question of hospital rating examined.
