DANCING

A race ball will be held at the Peter Pan Cabaret this evening, when a special attraction will be the presentation of a gold-mouhted wliip to the jockey who rides the horse which wins the Easter Handicap. The presentation will be made bv Miss liomoia Hansen, of the J. C. Williamson Opera Company. Mr. Reg Morgan and his Broadcasting Band will provide the music, An excellent programme of dancing has been arranged for race night, to he held at the Dixieland Cabaret this evening. The latest music will be supplied by the New Internationals Band .'ind patrons are assured of ideal dancing conditions and a very pleasant evening's entertainment. The Rialto Ballroom, Newmarket, formerly the Click Clack Cabaret, will be re-opened this evening, when an excellent programme will be presented. There are ideal dancing conditions, as the floor is specially built for the purpose. The Rialto Jazz Orchestra will be heard in the latest dance tunes, including " Doin' the Uptown Lowdown" and " Did You Ever See a Dream Walking?" which will .be played lor the first time in New Zealand. Easter carnival dances will be held at the My-T-Fino Dance Hall this evening and gn Monday evening. A dance will commence at midnight to-inorrow and continue until daylight. A baek-to-ohildhood ball will be held on Thursday. Excellent dancing should be enjoyed at the Civic Wintersarden this evening, when musis will be provided by the iWontergarden Band*
