PARTS FROM NAVAL GUNS

A plea, of not guilty on two charges »f stealing parts from naval guns at Devonport/of a total value of £62, the property of the New Zealand Government, was made in the Police Court on Thursday by Robert Colcord, aged 32, motor-driver (Mr. Noble). Evidence was given by a member of the Defence Force staff that he had seen accused walking up the hill at North Head toward the defence works, and by employees of a foundry, who said accused had sold gun-metal to them. . ' Accused was committed by Messrs. A. J. Stratford and M. Guthrie, J.P.'s, io the Supreme Court for trial.
