SAMOAN YOUTH SENTENCED FIFTEEN YEARS IN GAOL [by radio PBESS association] • APIA, March 28 Tamasi, a Samoan youth, charged with the murder of a another Samoan native, Usoalii, of the village of Saasaai, Savaii, on February 26, by stabbing him in the stomach with the serrated blade of a stick, was found guilty of manslaughter by the High Court, presided over by tbe Chief Judge, Mr. J. H. Luxford, and three European and one Samoan assessors. He was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment with hard labour.
