Thursday The annual conference of the associated Churches of Christ was opened to-:lay, over 100 delegates from all parts of New Zealand assembling. The visitors were welcomed by Pastor Stuart Stevens, minister of the Moor-t house Avenue Church. The assembly wan informal, and after the visitors were conducted on a motor tour of the city the formal opening ceremony took place at two o'clock, under the presidency of Mr. Godfrey Fretwell, of Invercargill. To-night's session will be open and the president's address will be given.
