PRESENTATION
Mr. G. W. Albertson, district Public Works engineer, who has been appointed an engineer to the Main Highways Board, was the guest of honour at a valedictory gathering at Taumarunui. Reference was made to the great improvement in the roading of the Taumarunui district during the five years of Mr. Albertson's term. Members of the Golf Club, of which Mr. Albertson was president, and of the Catholic Church choir, made presentations to Sir. and Mrs. Albertson.
