A SENSITIVE SKIN

SPECIAL CARE NEEDED If you have a delicate skin, be careful not to wash just before going out into cold air. The soap and hot water abstracts the natural oil from the skin j;nd the biting wind soon causes it to crack. There are many excellent preparations on the market for protecting the skin against the inflammation and chapping caused by cold winds. -Glycerine has long been a favourite remedy and it is useful in tin's way, but it should not be forgotten that it causes some skins to irritate. Rose water ointment, more popularly known as cold cream, is another excellent application. It contains wax and almond oil, among other ingredients, which keep it fresh and good.
