NORTH AUCKLAND COMPETITIONS [from OUlt own correspondent] _ WHANGAREr, Saturday . On the Portland Bowling Club's green to-day, the championship banner full-link competition of the North Auckland Bowling Centre was played by clubs representing the central section. The following clubs were represented:—Chilman, Power, Williams. Brcwis (Portland); Rummins. C:unpie. Williams, Graham (Russell); Kokich, Telfor. Morrish, Piggott (Whangarei). As a result of the day's play, Whangarei Club was successful, and will play the final games at Dargaville on March 17 with the winning teams of the northern and southern sections. Following are the results of to-day's games:— First Round.—Piggott (Whangarei), 19, v. Brewis (Portland), 1G; Graham (Russell), a bye*. Second Round.—Piggott. 25, v. Graham. 1G; Brewis, a bye.
