There was a steady market for insurance shares and two issues sold at current rates. In loan and agency. Farmers' Cooperative Auctioneering 13 preference gained 3d on sale at 19s 6d, and Golds-brough-Morts were unchanged in two transactions at 375. Timber shares were secured at current prices. Breweries were strongly sought and offers for New Zealands, Is 6d higher at 40s, were not met by holders. Tooth's changed hands 2s 6d higher/ at 455. Dunlop Rubbers gained further ground, selling 2s 6d higher at 22s 6d. Unchanged business was completed in Colonial Sugar, farmers' Fertiliser, New Zealand Refrigerating, contributing, and Wilsons Cement. , „ TTT ... A' decline in levels for Waihis was accompanied, by sales 5d lower at 29s 7d and twice at 29s 6d. Waihi Junctions were placed at the previous rato, 4s 7d, after an earlier sale at 4s Bd.
