YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges. In the second column is given the return, based on tho last annual dividend, from investment at the quoted price. In calculating tho return 011 shares in companies which pay their dividends outside New Zealand tho exchange rates havo not been taken into consideration. Tho return 011 Bank of New Zealand ordinary shares is computed at 10 per cent per annum. Tho yield on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption. In tho case of 3i per cent loans, the return is for interest alone, and covers only the period fs>r which tho loans aro tax-freo. No return is given on local body securities and debentures in the meantime.
