•'OLD BILL" FRATERNITY aid for blinded men LONDON, Nov. 20 The Prince of Wales visited an exhibition of disabled ex-servicemen's work and was enrolled as the first ccntleman member" of the Old Bill fraternity of St. Dunstan s. The members promise to purchase at least 5s worth of goods mado by blinded men. The Duchess of York became the first lady member." The Prince paid his membership fee of 6d and signed on the dotted line in response to an invitation from a figuit* of "Old Bill" with outstretched hand captioned, "Put it there, mate! His Royal Highness bought numerous articles afc the exhibition, chiefly bright-coloured mufflers and handkerchiefs, saying: "Cheerful colours make cheerful people." Also he bought some women's handbags, which, he said, he wanted to compare with thoso mado by foreigners.
