ARTILLERY PRACTICE

CAMP AT FORT CAUTLEY HUDSON CUP COMPETITION Artillery practice was held at Fort Caijtley, North Head, by the 15th Coast Battery, Wellington, and the 13th Coast Battery, Auckland, on Saturday, the first day of a week's camp. The main competitions for the Hudson Cup, at present held by Wellington, will take place to-day, when there will bo firing practices with the equipment at the fort as well as sub-calibre firing. Points will also bo awarded for the work done during the week. Captain C. A. Williamson is in charge of the Wellington Battery and Captain J. B. Lockhart is commanding the camp.
