The Papatoetoo Ratepayers' Welfare League decided at its meeting on Thursday evening to write to the Main Highways Board, tho Otahuhu Borough Cpuncil, and th<T Automobilo Association urging them to provide a. track for those using bicycles on tho Westfield-Penroso section of tho Groat South Road, owing to the present danger. It was also decided to approach the Railways Board asking it to consider .an extension of bona fklo workers tickets to those arriving in town before 9 a.m., and also a reduction in tho price of workers' tickets. It was stated that owing to tho depression a number of residents were considering moving into tho city.
