JEWS IN AFRICA
INSULTS DEPRECATED GENERAL SMUTS' WARNING CAPETOWN, Nov. 1 General Smuts, as Minister for Justice, appeals to South Africans to discourage anti-Jewish movements, which, he says, are most sinister and dangerous. Otherwise the participants may unexpectedly find themselves in trouble. The Minister's action follows allegations by Rabbi Bender that the Nation-alist-Socialist Party had commenced an active underhand campaign against Jews in the Union, consisting of insults and intimidation.
