GLEN EDEN TOURNEY The following skips have entered teams for a full-rink tourney to bo held next Tuesday by the Glen Fden Bowling Club, commencing at 9 o'clock:—J. Duncan. J. Mason (Carlton), F. Livingstone (Onehunga), W. Vivian, W. Trayes (Mount Eden), R. Prangley (Mangere), W. Lorain (Rocky Xook), 11. N. Brown (Ponsonby), J. Thomas (Mount Albert), W. Moors (Henderson), W. Rankin (New Lynn), J. Hollows (Hallyburton-Johnstone), T. Edney (Avondale), W Murray (Rawhiti), F. Firth, M. Snndo (Glen Eden). PAPATOETOE TOUR NEY One of the largest tournaments ever held by the I'apatoefoe Bowling Club was played yesterday. Twenty-six teams entered from clubs over a wide district, and with excellent greens and fine weather keen competition resulted. Section A was won by (West End), with five wins. In section B Lancaster (Carlton), Wren (Remuera). Donaldson (Grey Lynn) and Shortt (Pukekohe) tied with four wins and one loss. Lancaster won the play-off. The final between Brcmner and Lancaster will be played at a later date.
