Mac- I )11 ill ;i n, for the appointment of an addi- : tional inspector for approximately four months to deal with the ragwort menace ' in the Whangarei County. The Minister 1 has replied stating that lie finds the di.strict is fortunately not infested with ragwort to any great extent, and if ! farmers will co-operate actively with i the department, it is considered that j the services of nil additional officer will j not be required.
