G. Lmerson. The varied nature of the programme selected by Mr. Emerson, and rendered with artistic skill, displayed the powers of the now organ admirably. and was greatly appreciated by tiio large audience which crowded the church. Mr. Emerson was assisted in his recital by Miss Edna Pence and Mr. Robert Simmer-,, who each contributed two veal solo-, the accompaniments being played by Mr. Emerson. The programme concluded with the "Hallelujah" Chorus, sung by the church choir, under the baton of Mr. S. Dimery, the organist and choirmaster. The organ has been installed at a cost of slightly over £9OO, and in a statement made by the treasurer on Wednesday evening it was shown that only about £IOO remains to be raised. During the services on Sunday the Rev. A. Meliean expressed the warm j s-itisfaction of the congregation with I the v.ork of the builder. Mr. G. Croft.
