MISSIONARY WORK
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION Record subscriptions during the year were reported at the ninth annual meeting of the Auckland Missionary Association, held last evening in conjunction with the Fellowship of Faith for Moslems. There was a fair attendance of representatives of various missionary interests in the city. The report presented by the secretary, Miss F. M. Malcolm, stated that during the year a total of £ll2B had ' been received and passed on to 34 different societies. This sum constituted » record, and represented more thaJ triple the amount received in the previous year. Three new missionary societies had affiliated, making a total of 20 affiliated and 14 associate missions. A missionary library was being formed and was expected to be read;' for use very shortly. Membership ef the association now stood at 310, an increase of 40 over last year's total. In addition the young people's branch has a membership of CO. Mr. B. C. Hercus was elected to take the place of the retiring president, Mr. . A. Mill. Mr. A. T. Vinson was appointed treasurer, and the remainder of the executive was re-elected. At the close of the business. Mr. H. Yolland gave an address on the scriptural records concerning Jewish Iskmaelite races.
