THROWN FROM HORSE

YOUNG JOCKEY INJURED An apprentice jockey, W. Weaver, aged 15, of 39 Coyle Street, Sandringham, was thrown from a recentlybroken horse in Halesowen Avenue, Sandringham, yesterday afternoon. In falling he struck his head and suffered concussion. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is not serious.
