TAINUI SAILED The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui sailed for Southampton and London, via Panama, yesterday morning. Her departure was delayed for three hours owing to a dense fog on the harbour. She will berth at Western Wharf to complete unloading bulk petrol from Russia. MONTEREY FROM LOS ANGELES The Matson liner Monterey was scheduled to clear Los Angeles yesterday for Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne, \ya Island ports. Tho vessel is due at Auckland on September 8, ptnd sho will resume her voyage the same day. NARBADA CLEARED SAMARANG The Narbada, cn route from Calcutta, Penaug and Singapore, cleared Samarang on Monday for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin find Bluff. She is due at Auckland about September 9. THE MATAROA The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa arrived from Wellington yesterday morning and berthed at Queen's Wharf to ■unload her general merchandise cargo and to load n quantity of butter for England. Her other loading ports have not been announced. MARIPOSA LEAVES SYDNEY The Matson liner Mariposa cleared Sydney for Auckland at 12.40 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The vessel is due on Saturday morning and sho is scheduled to sail for Los Angeles, via Island ports, at one o clock the same afternoon. ORAMA AT FREMANTLE The Orient liner Orama arrived at Fremantle from London yesterday. The vessel is due at Sydney on August 30. THE RANGITANE The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitans arrived from Napier last evening and will berth at Queen's Wharf this morning to complete loading. Her cargo from New South Wales ports is for Lyttelton and Dunedin. After completion of discharge the vessel will load at Southern ports for Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarei.
