OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR [from our own cortiksponpf.nt] PUKEKOHE, "Wednesday The election of officers at the annual meeting of the Pukekoho Municipal Band last evening resulted as follows:—President, Mr. E. G. Moncrief; vice-president, Mr. F. W-. Stembridge; bandmaster, Mr. C. Deed; conductor, Mr. L. K. Holt; drum-major, Mr. H. Sutton; sergeant, Mr. It. Meyer; corporal, Mr. K. Lakeman; lance-cor-poral, Mr. C. Lakeman; librarian, Mr. \V. Barnett; assistant librarian, Mr. A. Kane; secretary, Mr. T. H. Home; treasurer, Mr. C. Deed; executive committee, tho president, vicepresident, secretary, treasurer, sergeant, .and Messrs. G. H. Armstrong, J. H. Webb and W., Barnett; bandsmen's committee, bandmaster, secretary, sergeant, and Messrs. W.- Barnett, S J. Edwards and H. Sutton. N The retiring president, Mr. G. H. Armstrong, who presided, reported a successful past season, and that tho band had made a good showing at Hamilton last Easter. The balancesheet showed an excess of expenditure over income of £sl, but accumulated funds stood at £lB9.
