INTOXICATED DRIVER
FINE OF £2O IMPOSED SEQUEL TO FATALITY [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday A fine of £2O was imposed on Arthur Haldamond de Lisle on a charge of driving a motor-car while in a state of intoxication, the conviction to be entered on his licence for the current term and for two years afterward. On defendant's own application, a prohibition order was made against him. De Lislo's car recently struck and killed an intoxicated man on the Hutt lload near the Petone woollen mills.
