STRUCK BY A CAR

BROKEN ARM AMD SHOCK As a result of an accident near the norner of Symonds Street and East Street shortly after seven o'clock last evening, Miss Heleno Le Houx, aged 72, of 19 Kliyber Pass Road, received a fracture of the arm. Miss Le Houx had alightod from an outward-bound tram and was struck by a motor-car as she was crossing the road. v She was taken by a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital. Her condition last evening was described as not serious, although she was suffering considerably from shock.
