ATTITUDE OF MINISTERS CRITICISM BY FARMERS' UNION [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Friday Disagreement with views expressed by members of the Government on the subject of delating of farm lands was voiced at a meeting of the Waikato sub-provincial executive of the Farmers' Union to-day. A resolution was carried that the meeting viewed with regret the attitude of the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coatcs and the Hon. J. A. Young as expressed by them recently, and the meeting requested that the Ministers either qualified their statements or withdrew themA further resolution was carried, to the effect that tho executive took strong exception to the attitude adopted by tho counties' conference toward tm> question of tho -derating of rural lands for roading purposes. The executive considered that tho conference sacrificed tho interests of ratepayers on this question.
