ANCIENT SKULLS FOUND
UNEARTHED BY WORKMEN [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday Throe human skulls were unearthed by workmen employed in repairing a stormwater drain near the river-bank in Cook Street, Hamilton East, yesterday. Two of the skulls were well-pre-served, but the third was decayed and had the roots of a shrub growing through it. The skulla are believed to be those of Maoris.
