NORTH AUCKLAND WORK[from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Thursday The quarterly meeting of the North Auckland Presbytery was held at Whangarei yesterday, the moderatgr, tho Rev. W. Elliott, presiding over a large attendance. The Rev. J. D. McFarlane, of Waipu, was appointed moderator for tho ensuing year. • - Information was sought by the clerk to the General Assembly as to what extent the Nelson system of Bible in schools' teaching wasr in operation throughout the presbytery. . It was reported that in the majority of tho charges the Nelson system was in operation, and the results obtained were very satisfactory. The following resolution was carried: "That this presbytery is satisfied that the Nelson system of Bible., in schools is being taught in the schools throughout the bounds of the presbytery as far as is possible. The presbytery appreciates the co-operation of thp parents and tho teachers, thus making for the best results."
