Aug. 2 ' Official advice has been received in Tokio that General Ton Yu-ling, formerly Governor of Jchol, formally offers his allegiance to Manchukuo, together with that of his army. The Government is investigating Tan's affiliation with General Feng Yu-hsiang before accepting his offer.
